My new book is once again, a personal story; my immigration story due to the recession. Having to leave Greece with my family, my new home in Cyprus -and everything in between- was a life-changing experience and a story, I think, worth telling.

The book is a mix of stories first published on my blog and The Greek Cloud, as well as the backstory of my journey, the hardships, the cypriot crisis that followed, my new reality and the reality of my friends who are now scattered around the world.

Special thanks to Eleni Gkika and Diaplasis Publications for the honour to be among such a great team of authors.

From the book's cover:

Having to leave your country is hard. What you expect is much different from what you'll find, what you’ll have to take, what is actually scary and what will make you happy.

A different look at our times through a personal story often written with humour and often confessing much deeper feelings on all the little things we take for granted but are so precious to the ones who managed to "escape" a financial crisis.

Constantina Delimitrou, once again through a personal story -enriched with a selection of her online blog posts, writes about the decision to leave Greece for a new life in Cyprus, the hardships and her new reality in a country that soon after moving, also faced a debt crisis.
